Hannu Hautala, M.Sc in Technology, has joined Luxmet Board of Directors and shareholders to contribute to the growth and internationalization of the company. “Luxmet is in a very interesting phase and the technologies developed by Luxmet have a significant potential to increase energy efficiency in metal industry,” says Hannu. “The technologies help steel melt shop operators to control their process better than earlier and this provides tangible savings.” Hannu has worked in senior management positions in the steel industry at SSAB and Outokumpu and manufacturing service industry for ICT at Flextronics and Elcoteq. Most recently he worked as CEO of Nordkalk Corporation.
